Richard Burton: Filmed in 1964, Richard Burton's Hamlet is a black and white film. The film is an 199 minute record of Burton's performance at the Lunt Fontanne Theater in New York City and was filmed over a two night period, using fifteen cameras. Directed by John Gielguld and produced by Alexander H. Cohen, the film also features Hume Cronyn, Alfred Drake, George Rose, Linda Marsh, John Cullen, Barnard Hughes and Eileen Herlie.

The film is a 22 minute version of the play, directed by Hay Plumb and produced by Cecil M. Hepworth. Other cast members include Gertrude Eliot, Adeline Bourne, and J.H. Barnes.
