Folger Edition:   The The Folger Shakespeare's electronic text of The tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, was edited by Barbara Mowat and Paul Werstine and published in 1992 by the Folger Shakespeare Library.

Arden Edition:   The Arden electronic text is based on the "Arden 2" edition of Hamlet edited by Harold Jenkins (London: Methuen, 1982). The second series of The Arden Shakespeare was launched in hardback in the early 1950s and completed in the early 1980s, with paperback editions beginning in the 1960s. A new series, "Arden 3," was launched in 1995 under the General Editorship of Richard Proudfoot, Ann Thompson, and David Kastan. A new edition of Hamlet for Arden 3, edited by Ann Thompson and Neil Taylor, is in preparation.

3-Text Hamlet Edition: These transcriptions of Hamlet F1 (1623), Hamlet Q1 (1603) and Q2 (1604/5) are electronic versions of The Three-Text Hamlet, edited and provided by Bernice W. Kliman. The printed text was co-edited by Paul Bertram and Bernice W. Kliman (New York: AMS Press, 1991).
