Description: Portrait of Thomas Wallace Keene (1840-1898) as Hamlet. Three-quarter length, to right, facing right and upwards. He appears to be standing close in front of a wall. His left hand is raised behind his head. His right hand is behind his back. He wears thigh-length tunic, the Order of the Elephant on a chain, and has light-toned stockings with dark cross garters (like Booth).
