Description: Hamlet to left of centre, standing, to right, back partially to viewer. Both arms are extended to right rear at head height. He holds his sword in his right hand. He is dressed in doublet, trunk hose, plumed hat and long cloak, and he is facing the Ghost. At left rear stands Horatio, back to viewer, wearing plumed hat and long cloak. He too is looking at the Ghost. The Ghost stands to right of centre at rear, beyond the edge of the platform. His body is forward but his head is to left, and his right arm is across his body to right, the right index finger pointing to right. He wears a plumed helmet, the visor up.
