Description: One large scene with two small insets. Large scene shows Herbert Beerbohm Tree as Hamlet and Mr. Fernandez as Ghost in production at Haymarket, 30 January 1892. The towers of a castle at top right and at top left some ruins, in front of which stands the Ghost. He appears to be wearing chain mail and a helmet with the visor raised. In his left hand he has a truncheon which he rests on his left hip. His right hand rests on his right hip. Over his armour is a light translucent cloth. Hamlet stands in the right foreground his feet wide apart and his body leaning towards the Ghost. His right arm and fingers are fully extended towards the Ghost as if in longing. He wears a short tunic, a dagger and sword, and around his neck hangs a miniature (or chivalric insignia). [For the other pictures on this sheet, see separate entries for this item.]
