Description:
Ghost at left, facing right in profile. His right arm is extended to right towards Hamlet and holds truncheon. He wears armour and plumed helmet with visor up. Hamlet at right, standing, forward, legs apart, facing left towards Ghost, right arm fully extended to left with palm raised. In his left hand, he holds his sword, point to ground. Hamlet wears contemporary eighteenth-century clothes (wig, coat, breeches, etc.). An owner of this volume has written in ink below the following caption: 'Barry as the Ghost. Hamlet. Garrick dans Hamlet.
